About the Symposium

The 17th International Symposium, organized by the Bangladesh JSPS Alumni Association (BJSPSAA), is tentatively scheduled for February 2026. Following the success of the 16th International Symposium held on February 23, 2025, at the University of Dhaka, this event will continue to promote scientific collaboration.

Highlights from the 16th Symposium (2025)

On February 23, 2025, BJSPSAA hosted the 16th International Symposium at the University of Dhaka, themed “Innovation for a Sustainable Future: Leveraging Science and Technology to Tackle Emerging Challenges.” The event featured presentations by researchers from Japan and Nepal, a speech by Director Otani, an explanation of JSPS’s programs by Deputy Director Fukuda, and a medal awarding ceremony for graduates of the JSPS RONPAKU program.
